Longing For The Stable

I’m happy to share with you my newest original recording “Longing for the Stable”, that was just recorded with my friends David Koblish and Murray Adam, with outstanding production work from Dick Tunney in Nashville. Below you’ll find the link to watch the video and download the song.

Longing for the Stable YouTube

We are all people looking for peace and wholeness in the Christmas season.

Some of us look for it in places of plenty, where the ache of inner, soul emptiness seems even more pronounced despite the wealth of materials things. There is another, more grim reality for people in unimaginable circumstances on this planet.  War, terrorism, and senseless violence are wreaking havoc on people’s lives, and Christmas peace seems like a distant and lost dream that is now unattainable.

We are all longing for the “stable”—stability in life, regardless of our circumstances. The divine beauty of the longing of this season is that it leads us to a lowly stable that once housed a baby —Jesus Christ —who would change everything for all who turn to him.

All of us—regardless of our circumstances— are human beings who are desperately searching for peace and life.  We are all people who need Jesus.

The message of Christmas is literally “Christ come”. Jesus is God’s answer for the world.  Only Jesus can bring hope out of despair, life from death, peace from war, and restoration and rebirth from loss and destruction. The message of Jesus’ birth, that came at a time when Israel was under Roman occupation and persecution, seems even more relevant today than ever. God is with us, available for any and all people who open their hearts to Him.

From the wars in Ukraine and Israel to threats of war and terror all around, there is only one answer for life and peace: Jesus Christ.

If you like “Longing for the Stable”, please share it with others. Our prayer is that it reaches many people with the hopeful message of Christmas Finally, consider purchasing the song through the link below so we can provide more songs and content of hope in the days to come
