"The Christmas Ladder" Song and Video now available!

I’m excited to announce my new song "The Christmas Ladder" is now available on YouTube and as a recording you can download or stream! This song is the culmination of months of prayer and work by many people, and I am thrilled to share it with you.

“The Christmas Ladder” is illustrated song-story about a young boy, his grandfather and family, their faith and the ladder that connects them all.  It's a story that can be shared and listened to by people of all ages. The story was illustrated by an artist from Ukraine, which makes this even more special.

I am grateful for and proud of the team that worked on bringing this song story to life:

  • The song features me along with my brother Joe Atkins and good friend Steve Bloomquist (Joe and Steve were 2 members of the band “Sunrise” that I was part of many years ago).

  • My good friend Matt Kirkwold, a prolific musician and producer in his own right, added additional instruments and arrangements.

  • The Illustrations were done by Victoria Skakandi, who lives in Ukraine. We pray for her, her family, colleagues and the people of Ukraine!

  • The videos were produced by Clay Erickson. He is an amazing video producer and friend.

  • I also want to acknowledge my friends Adam Ferris and Bill Gausman, 2 great musicians who played drums and harmonica on the original demonstration version of the song.

This song would not be here today without their talents and musical contributions.

I hope this song and story bless you and all who hear it and watch the video.

Have a blessed Christmas and New Year!

Chris Atkins
