Season of Light
This week I have included a song I wrote and recorded entitled “Season of Light” to accompany my blog post.

In the winter months, many people experience a mood depression called Seasonal Affective Disorder. One doctor told me that it is often associated with the lack of sunlight people in northern climates receive because of shorter days and the lower position of the sun in the sky. Not getting enough sunlight reduces our level of vitamin D and can cause fatigue, lethargy, and the blues. One treatment for this disorder is light therapy, where a person is exposed to polarized light to feed the body the nutrients it would normally get from the sun. For me, choosing to go outside each day for a run or walk does wonders for my attitude.
I pray you will be filled with God’s light, even in dark times, and invite you to check out my book “The Isaiah Encounter” on Barnes and Noble and Amazon.
