Thanks for your support!
This week I’m taking a little break from my regular blog writing to share about an outstanding ministry event this that took place this past weekend. Take a moment to check out the attached pictures from the “Chris Atkins and Friends” concert to benefit Seeds of Hope, a ministry that supports a food shelf and soup kitchen in Wildwood, Florida. It was a perfect day for this outdoor concert at The Grove, and the estimated attendance was between 800 and 1,000 people. Nearly a ton of food, as well as lots of money, was given to support people who don’t have the resources that many of us have.
From start to finish the concert was covered in prayer! I am grateful that all who attended heard the Good News of Jesus Christ through the music and words that we shared. A big thrill for me was sharing the stage with my brother Joe for two songs, as it has been two decades since we sang together. I was also joined by my wife, along with other great musicians from Florida and Minnesota, including my friends Steve Bloomquist, Roger Peterson, and Adam Ferris.
This was a God-anointed concert, and I am grateful to all the ministry partners and supporters of Grace Unleashed, Live Oaks Community Church, and Seeds of Hope who worked together to bring about this amazing event.
I’m taking a few days off, but come back next week for a fresh, new blog post.
God bless you!
